John Corallo started his clothing career at a young age. Working part-time in retail clothing and shoes while in school, he got a job at Harry Rosen’s. He worked at the Yorkdale location for 5 years, running “the Boss shop” for a couple of those years, after breaking not only the rules and the projected budgets, John was promoted to sales manager at the ripe old age of 21, he was one of the youngest managers in the chain and has never looked back! He has always loved the interactions with customers and decided that one day he would own a store of his own where he could serve clients, offer them beautiful clothing and sportswear in an atmosphere that was relaxed and fun! Well, John is still having fun in an industry that’s a far cry from the architect he was studying to be.
“Mikey” as we call him at the store is not only John’s brother but he’s a character all his own! Mikey joined us 12 years ago as part of a co-op program placement but left to further pursue knowledge of the menswear industry at other sources such as Tip Top Tailors, Suit Exchange. Mikey’s done his tour of duty and is now back with us. We are developing him to be the strongest man in fashion! Ok, he’s young and energetic with a great fashion sense. And is involved in buying and ownership.
The longest standing Coop employee, Jeff works part time with us, and is a designer most of the time, meaning he works with us on weekends while during the week he is designing as well as inventing fabulous trade show structures, private party décor and themes, spectacular wedding and garden oasis events as well as floral arrangements that are very unique just to name a few. Jeff also does The Coop’s windows anything that calls for impeccable taste! He’s been with us a long time and seen the many circles of fashion.
